Nugget Genesis 4:7

“If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is lurking at the door; its desire is for you, but you master it.”

Devotional thought: If you do not do well, if you do not master sin, it is lurking to take control of you and master you. Pay attention! Remember what I posted yesterday about what we read in Romans 1, “the result of those who do “not see fit to acknowledge God”: they are filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, covetousness, malice, envy, murder, strife, deceit, craftiness, they are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, rebellious, foolish, faithless, heartless, and ruthless. How controlling are those things? Turn to God, dive into God’s covenant promise.
