In the beginning God – created x3, God made x3, God said x10, God saw x7, God called (named) x5, God blessed x3, God finished (for the week), God rested. Genesis 1:1-2:3

“God blessed them (every living creature that moves, of every kind, with which the wasters swarm, and every winged bird of every kind – Gen 1:21), saying ‘Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.’” Genesis 1:22

“God blessed them (humankind –Gen 1:27), and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sir and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.’” Genesis 1:28

“So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that he had done in creation.” Genesis 2:3

In our keeping and tilling, being fruitful and multiplying, living life abundant let us remember to rest in God, to rest as God rest, to live in faith that enough is enough and that rest not only helps restore from the past but also builds up for the future.
